Waterlines 6 is out!

I'm very pleased to announce that Amazon Kindle now has Waterlines 6.  It's also at Smashwords and I hope to have it available with Apple, Barnes & Noble et al very soon.
There are two stories: 
Until Stella Returns is a sequel to Locked In, which appeared in Waterlines 4.   Mike is having a frantic time, having lost two co-workers in his office.  Then Margaret, one of the girls that he lost, suddenly returns to ask for her job back.  She also brings with her opportunities for the sex games they used to enjoy.  But the love of his life, Stella, is due to return from Dubai in four months' time, and there won't be room in his life for both women.  What's he going to do about it?
In the second story, Such Stuff as Dreams, Harry is blest with a sympathetic, caring secretary.  When he loses his girlfriend, she offers him a form of consolation beyond the call of duty; it's a win-win situation as she can act out her erotic watersports dreams with him.  But there's an age difference between them, and she doesn't want a relationship.  Can they come to some kind of arrangement?  Here's a short taster:

Waterlines 5 is now available

Hello again!

Waterlines 5 has just been published on Amazon Kindle and on Smashwords.  I am hoping to have Waterlines 2, 3, 4 and 5 available on Apple iBooks and on Barnes & Noble Nook early in June.  The first issue (just called Waterlines, without a number) is currently only available with Amazon Kindle due to an exclusivity agreement, but this expires in July and I'm hoping it will become generally available through all main distributors by the end of that month.

Waterlines 5 follows the usual pattern and contains two short stories.  The first, Reunion Dinner, comes entirely from my own imagination although I am pretty sure that the events described must have really happened to a couple at some time in the past.  And the second story, A Sexy Young Widow, is a sequel to an earlier story I wrote called An Accommodating Landlady, which features in Waterlines 3.  Although all the loose ends were tied up by the end of the story, I left one element in the plot begging to be somehow  brightened; I was unable to do anything about it in this narrative, but I may revisit this situation in another story.

In the meantime, I have begun a story for Waterlines 6... and have left my other work-in-progress on the shelf for another few weeks....

Finally, here's a little taster for Reunion Dinner in Waterlines 5:

 We were just finishing our studies; a mutual friend had invited us to a party, and the guy who had promised us a lift back to our college residence had forgotten about us.  We had to walk three miles along an unwinding, flat road in the dead of night with only a full moon and a wealth of stars to guide us. 

Announcing that she needed to pee, she attempted to squat but – because of the amount of drink she’d had earlier – she was unsteady on her feet.

        “Alone... at last,” Margaret smiled.  “It would be a pity to waste the opportunity.”
        Before I could tell her to stop being crazy, she pulled off her top, and dropped her skirt.  She was wearing black lingerie and stockings; I took one look at the gorgeous curves on her ass and weakened.  “Quick!” I called.  “Come away from the window!”

When writing Locked In, I became rather attached to the character of Margaret, and would love to see her back in another story at some stage in the distant future.  There has to be much more to her than I had space to convey this time.

Readers of the two stories in Waterlines 3 will remember the story of An Accommodating Landlady.  Colin is sent to work in Oxfordshire and lodges with a lady who provides some special sexual entertainment; the landlady has to leave suddenly and arranges for him to lodge with a neighbour.

Ever since I had that story published, the new landlady has been screaming at me to write a story about her - she appears to enjoy the same sexual proclivities as Colin's previous landlady, although the storyline isn't going to be just more of the same.  I haven't even put down the first word yet, but this character is so persistent in my mind - my muse has been waking me up at three in the morning to remind me that she's next on the list!  So I have earmarked the first story in Waterlines 5 for her.  Watch this space!

I've also written a single story - Sibling Rivals - which is available on Kindle at 99 cents, but is free of charge at Smashwords.  I have asked Amazon Kindle to reduce the price to "free", and am still waiting.  One reviewer considered the story wasn't quite complete; I struggled when writing the final paragraphs of this one, as the hero wanted to be rid of the two sisters but one of them was hoping for a sequel.  So I left the end of the story open-ended.  And I'm still thinking about her - and waiting for inspiration from Muse.  She may yet return....

Although I'm just starting Waterlines 5, I have an increasing backlog - in my other "incarnations" or pseudonyms, I have one erotic romance (30,000 words) still to complete, as well as two serious historical novels (each of 60,000 words) to revise
